Meet Merritt
Merritt Baumgartner, PA-C, grew up in Texas and graduated from the University of Alabama in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She then attended the University of South Alabama and graduated with a Master's of Health Science in Physician Assistant Studies. She spent the next 18 years working as a Physician Assistant all over the United States and Italy while her husband served in the Navy. Her love for women's health began at Naval Air Station Sigonella, where she was one of two female providers with a high demand for women's care.
Merritt has experience in women's health, primary medicine to include pediatrics, and urgent care. Women's health has always been Merritt's passion. She enjoys helping women of all ages but she is particularly interested in adolescent and young adult health and education.
When Merritt is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 kids. She loves working out, helping out at church and of course cheering on the Tide in all sports.
